ZF Friedrichshafen AG
ZF Friedrichshafen AG and doubleSlash are strategic partners and jointly implement innovative digitalisation projects.
Strategic partners for technological innovations
As a leading technology group in driveline and chassis technology as well as active and passive safety technology, ZF Friedrichshafen AG has a global workforce of around 135,000 with approximately 230 locations in some 40 countries. This places the company among the top three automotive suppliers in the world.
ZF and doubleSlash have been strategic partners since 2015 and work closely together in four strategic business areas: software development, networked products and services, product data management, and enterprise information management (EIM), which provides digital support for the organisational processes within a company.
New collaborative solutions are also being developed to equip the cars of the future with an intelligent software architecture in line ZF’s ‘See – Think – Act’ principle.
doubleSlash has already successfully supported ZF in various software projects – including state-of-the-art web technologies for user communication with the Advanced Urban Vehicle (AUV) concept vehicle and the visualisation of this interaction, or the development of a predictive maintenance solution for wind turbines.
Scrum cooking with ZF Innovation Management
In order to gather some inspiration regarding agile methodology and how it can be used in our own project environment, we held a joint Scrum cooking workshop with ZF’s Innovation Management team.
Predictive maintenance for wind turbines
doubleSlash has been working on the development of a system for monitoring wind turbine utilisation. It is used for early detection of failures and optimisation of plant operation.
Modern software solution for comprehensive test bench management
ZF Friedrichshafen AG uses a web-based software solution designed by doubleSlash that enables intuitive and automated management of test bench parts.
Testing autonomous vehicles in the cloud
A cloud-based simulation enables ZF Friedrichshafen AG to test autonomous vehicles in the cloud without putting a single car on the road.
