With the user-friendly ZF Mobility Assist app, we have created the basis for an optimal travel experience in ZF Friedrichshafen AG autonomous shuttles. Passengers benefit from real-time information such as estimated arrival times, live movement of the vehicle on a map, current occupancy data and practical “pick-me-up” functionality.

The main challenge was to develop an app that would remain reliable and efficient even with a high usage density. At the same time, it had to be user-friendly, technically stable and visually clearly structured in order to meet the requirements of a wide range of users. The aim was to ensure seamless operation across different end devices.
