Standard-compliant solution for the mobility of the future
doubleSlash's Digital Key product is now officially certified according to the standards of the Car Connectivity Consortium (CCC). The certification confirms that the product meets key requirements for security, interoperability, and standard compliance – thus laying an important foundation for productive use in the mobility ecosystem.
doubleSlash has been an active member of the CCC for three years and a core member since 2024. During this time, the company has participated in several member meetings and four international plugfests. There, the Digital Key was tested under practical conditions and continuously developed. Direct exchange with OEMs, Tier 1s, and technology partners significantly accelerates product maturity and ensures that the solution works throughout the entire ecosystem.
“A market-ready Digital Key requires more than a single technical component,” explains Manuel Teufel, Product Manager Digital Key at doubleSlash. “The interaction between the vehicle (components), software, and smartphone ecosystem is crucial—especially with regard to security, integration, and user processes. The CCC standard is the central link here. This is exactly where we come in with our end-to-end understanding and our Vehicle OEM Server.”
In November 2025, doubleSlash set another milestone by hosting a CCC plugfest in Friedrichshafen (Lake Constance Valley) – the first backend and software company to do so. The event brought together international partners from the CCC environment and enabled intensive testing and direct exchange across the entire digital key ecosystem.
With CCC certification and its active contribution to the further development of the standard, doubleSlash is underlining its commitment to developing sustainable, interoperable, and proven digital key solutions for the mobility of tomorrow.
