Promoting ideas and strengthening team spirit

Across company boundaries

The success of our projects stems from our values. We pursue our goals together, openly, sustainably and enthusiastically. Our commitment to sustainable and social activities is reflected in various initiatives. Among these are financial contributions to social institutions, the sponsorship of school and university projects, as well as support for sports groups.

Get an overview of what we have been involved in so far. We look forward to sustainably promoting team spirit, knowledge building and innovative ideas in the field of digitalization.

Running and cycling campaign supports children in need

The Kinderstiftung Bodensee is committed to ensuring that all children, regardless of their social, cultural or religious background, have opportunities for education and participation. The children are supported in various areas, including education, culture and sport. They also facilitate excursions, workshops and leisure activities.

doubleSlash supports "Volleyball goes to school"

VfB is committed to the community and organizes projects that promote both the children's workout and moral courage. The children not only have the opportunity to show off their sporting skills, but also to experience real team spirit. We are delighted to be working together on the "Volleyball macht Schule" project.

Sponsoring the "Fischbacher Halbmarathon"

In addition to sponsoring, doubleSlash will once again be represented by numerous runners at the "Fischbacher Halbmarathon". Participants can choose whether they want to take part in the 21.09 km half marathon, the 10.4 km "Viertele" or the 10.4 km Nordic Walking. Pupils also have the opportunity to take part in the "school run".

Partnerships for the future

Cooperation with schools and universities

As part of our social responsibility, we actively collaborate with universities, schools, and educational institutions. Through lectures, workshops, and joint projects, we support students and school classes in gaining hands-on experience and insights into the IT industry.

AI lecture at Munich University of Applied Sciences

We were able to provide insights into the topic of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) with Azure as part of a panel discussion at Munich University of Applied Sciences - with great interest from students and company representatives.

The discussions about indexing, search methods and data structuring for precise AI answers were particularly exciting.

Semester project with the TH Rosenheim

How much can Generative AI really support developers? Together with Rosenheim Technical University of Applied Sciences , we investigated exactly that. As part of a semester project, four students developed IoT device management software - a practical solution for networked systems, for example in a wind farm. They worked with modern cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure to ensure scalability and flexibility.

Presentation of the doubleSlash Award for the best degree certificate at RWU

We are delighted to present our doubleSlash Award each semester to the student with the best final grade in their final year of the Applied Computer Science course. Our collaboration with RWU illustrates the valuable connection between science and business and we are proud of this cooperation.

Award ceremony for the best undergraduate program at HFU

The Faculty of Computer Science at Furtwangen University organizes a freshman event at the start of each semester. As a long-standing partner of the university, doubleSlash has the honour of presenting the award for the best undergraduate course in IT product management and congratulating the winners.

Cooperation with the Karl-Maybach-Gymnasium in Friedrichshafen

doubleSlash has been working closely with Karl-Maybach-Gymnasium in Friedrichshafen since 2018. The aim is to give pupils an insight into IT and support them with their projects. The focus is on the Robotics AG, which offers pupils the opportunity to discover different areas of IT.

Educational partnership with Bodensee-Schule St. Martin

We are pleased to be able to establish a cooperation with Bodensee-Schule St. Martin in order to strengthen career guidance for pupils. This includes visits to our premises or various trade fairs and hands-on activities.

Guest lectures and workshops

Our close cooperation with RWU (Ravensburg-Weingarten University of Applied Sciences) stands for active knowledge transfer - for example through specialist lectures, workshops and our membership of the industry advisory board. We provide impetus in the field of AI-based software development in particular, e.g. by working on the appointment committee for AI or contributing to the lecture series.

Our colleagues are also involved as lecturers on the "Applied Computer Science" course. In the "Software Engineering" lecture, we teach the basics of developer tools, distributed systems, software documentation, software patterns and best practices.
