Working Together to Create Standards for a Networked Industry: doubleSlash Is Now a Member of the Open Industry 4.0 Alliance

Industrial transformation requires more than just powerful technologies. Sustainable added value is created through open standards, interoperable systems and close collaboration across company and industry boundaries. With this in mind, doubleSlash is now a member of the Open Industry 4.0 Alliance (OI4)—an international industry association based in Switzerland that brings together over 100 companies from the mechanical and plant engineering, automation technology, software and IT sectors and is committed to an open, standardized Industry 4.0 ecosystem.

Collaboration as the foundation of modern industrial ecosystems

Industrial companies are faced with the task of efficiently networking machines, systems and platforms, using data confidently and reacting flexibly to new requirements at the same time. Proprietary stand-alone solutions are increasingly reaching their limits. doubleSlash has been supporting industrial companies for many years in the implementation of networked, data-driven systems—from IoT architectures to interoperable data rooms, the use of AI and secure, scalable software solutions along the entire value chain. By becoming a member of OI4, the company is contributing its project experience to a strong, international network.
