"The award stands for a good and authentic corporate culture that is characterized by values such as trust, appreciation and team spirit," says Andreas Schubert,
Managing Director at the German Great Place to Work® Institute, on the occasion of the award ceremony.
The assessment is based on an anonymized survey of employees. The survey examines topics relating to workplace quality and employer attractiveness, such as credibility, respect, fairness and team spirit. Only the companies with the best ratings receive an award.
In the category "Germany's best employers in ICT", 135 companies were honored. doubleSlash was able to secure fourth place in the 50-100 employee size category.
Good workplace culture for mental work and enthusiasm
"We are delighted to receive this award and are proud to have been recognized in several categories – with two top 5 rankings. With our workplace culture, we want to provide the space for good thinking and enthusiasm for work. The awards show that we don't just promise our employees these things, but actually deliver them," says Nadine Schiffmann, Human Resources Manager at doubleSlash.
In the anonymous employee survey, 97 percent stated that doubleSlash is a very good employer and 95 percent would recommend the company as an employer.
"Second place among the best employers in Baden-Württemberg is a very special award for us," says Andreas Strobel, Managing Director at doubleSlash. "Swabians and people from Baden are known for the phrase 'not scolded is praised enough' and for their pronounced self-criticism, which is why there is all the more reason for us to be recognized here.
Innovation management and knowledge sharing promote a good climate and opportunities for development
The software company wants to promote and utilize the swarm intelligence of its employees. From the generation of an idea to its realization, all steps aretransparently mappedin a tool. Decisions can therefore be tracked at any time.
Internal knowledge sharing is also encouraged at doubleSlash. For example, an annual internal conference, the so-called "Technology Days", is held for all employees. This involves two days of workshops by colleagues for colleagues on business and IT topics. And in the evening, team building is on the agenda. In addition, doubleSlash offers internal workshops, a mentoring program and themed get-togethers.
