The Association of the German Internet Industry—eco—honored the winners of the eco Internet Award in Cologne last week for the 14th time. Around 400 guests were inspired by the visionary ideas of the nominees in nine different categories, such as entertainment, e-commerce/retail and security, at the festive gala.
Winner in the M2M category
The doubleSlash representatives Simon Noggler and Tim Bastian had every reason to be happy that evening: In the M2M category, which was awarded for the first time this year, the Telematics Service Platform came out on top against the competition.
The jury of experts from business, science and the media agreed: "The "Telematics Service Platform" from doubleSlash Net-Business GmbH impresses as an innovative web service suite. It offers services that record and make available status information about the vehicle fleet in real time. The concrete, already functioning and manufacturer-independent solution makes impressive use of the potential of M2M."
State-of-the-art telematics functions for efficient fleet management
The Telematics Service Platform supplements existing fleet management solutions with state-of-the-art telematics functions and enables real-time communication with every vehicle. It is characterized by simple and fast integration into an existing software structure via a web interface (API) and enables cross-industry, efficient deployment planning, which not only reduces costs but also leads to fleet deployment optimization.
"This high-caliber event shows how important innovation is for the industry. Winning this prestigious award is an incentive for us to continue developing our telematics service platform extensively and sustainably. We are delighted to receive this award and are proud of what we have achieved so far," says Simon Noggler, Business Consultant responsible for the Telematics Service Platform at doubleSlash. doubleSlash also bundles its expertise in M2M and IoT as a member of the M2M Alliance.
