Inventors' and researchers' day secured
With the support of doubleSlash, science and technology projects in daycare centers and, for example, a tinkerers' and researchers' day organized by the element-i educational foundation can take place again this year. Children between the ages of four and seven will have the opportunity to get to know STEM professions up close. "Promoting children's interest in science is particularly important to us," explains Veronica Florian, Head of Marketing at doubleSlash.
On Friday, 10.01.2020, doubleSlash was given a brief insight into everyday life at the daycare center in Friedrichshafen. Small workbenches, cooking instructions and much more—here the children can develop freely. "Supporters like doubleSlash are important for continuing our work in this area. We at element-i Bildungsstiftung would therefore like to express our sincere thanks for the donations—also on behalf of the children," emphasizes Waltraud Weegmann, Managing Director of element-i Bildungsstiftung.
About the element-i educational foundation
The element-i educational foundation opens up new horizons for children in a wide range of projects—regardless of their gender, background or the financial means of their parents. This enables them to discover their interests and talents, develop creativity and self-confidence and draw strength from this for their entire lives. Children are our future. Education strengthens them—and thus the society they help to shape. Based on humanistic values and in line with the element-i mission statement, the foundation therefore promotes the implementation of forward-looking pedagogy, particularly in daycare centers and elementary school. True to the motto: Supporting children—Living values—Shaping the future.
