doubleSlash is one of six initiators involved in the "Industry 4.0" working group of the Lake Constance-Upper Swabia Chamber of Industry and Commerce. The first meeting took place this week.

The topic of Industry 4.0 is penetrating the German economy—not least due to the strong Lake Constance-Upper Swabia region. Industry 4.0 describes the fourth industrial revolution, which is characterized by the networking and optimization of business and value creation processes.
So it makes sense that doubleSlash is involved in such a working group. "With our many years of software expertise, we are helping to lay the foundations for making Industry 4.0 applications easy and secure to implement. Only with increasing standardization and cross-company collaboration will it be possible to do justice to new business models. The working group is laying the foundations for this in the region," says Oliver Belikan, Managing Director at doubleSlash.

All companies related to this topic are invited to the Industry 4.0 meetings to take part in workshops and discussions and to exchange ideas. You can find more information about the "Industry 4.0" working group here.
