The sector is one of the most innovative and economically important branches of industry, not least due to the driver of digitalization - also in Baden-Württemberg. Visibility, networking in this sector and a common vision and representation of interests in politics, business and the media are important success factors for such a network. And this is precisely where the southern German MedicalMountains network comes in and plays an active role. That is why we at doubleSlash are delighted to be a member of this strong network and to be able to actively promote the digitalization of medical technology
doubleSlash is a software company with many years of experience in the digitalization of various industries, from automotive to medtech. We make our expertise available to many manufacturers, but also shape the transfer of know-how into the industry with –, e.g. with our MedTech expert Stefan Dürnay, who has already been an active participant and input provider at various MedicalMountains events. It is important to us to actively support and promote the visibility of the innovative power of MedTech and its potential for health and people. "For example, we can provide sustainable and efficient support from networking to the early detection and prevention of malfunctions when using medical technology devices - based on our many years of experience in networking sophisticated mobility products," says Andreas Strobel, Managing Director at doubleSlash.
At the same time, we can learn a lot here in the network about the market, customer needs and also the hurdles in this sector and work together on suitable solutions that will help the industry make good progress in its digitalization. Collaboration with other network partners such as service providers, MedTech companies and universities is a priority for us.
About MedicalMountains
In line with the motto "Together at the forefront of medical technology", the MedicalMountains network connects and supports all players in medical technology—in a Silicon Valley of MedTech in Tuttlingen. MedicalMountains supports the industry with sustainable solutions and a shared vision: "Where will MedTech be in 10 to 15 years and what will be important". The focus is primarily on the southern German medical technology sector, with around 280 registered partners in the network (as of Feb. 2023). MedicalMountains was founded in 2020
