IHK Internship Days at doubleSlash in Munich

31. July 2025 | Thursday

As part of this year's IHK internship days, doubleSlash Net-Business GmbH opened its doors to interested pupils at its Munich site. The aim was to give young people a practical insight into the world of modern IT professions through concrete project examples, practical tasks and an open exchange.

Insights into practice

On several days, young people took the opportunity to try out computer science or business informatics during the one-day taster internship. Whether programming logic in Java and C#, working with relational databases or modeling digital business processes: Participants were able to gain an authentic insight into various IT roles and activities.

The special feature: The students were supervised directly by doubleSlash employees, who took the time to share their knowledge and answer open questions. "Working with young people in particular often creates a new perspective on seemingly everyday things," explains Jan Bremauer, software developer at doubleSlash. "The questions also make us think and that makes the internship days exciting for both sides."

Promoting talent at an early stage and opening up prospects

With its involvement in the IHK internship days, doubleSlash is pursuing a clear goal: to get young talent interested in IT topics at an early stage and further strengthen its attractiveness as an employer in the region. In addition to technical content, the program therefore also included personal discussions on training paths, study options and career prospects.

The IHK internship days at doubleSlash show how early contact with professional practice can provide orientation. Those who want to delve deeper can apply for a school internship lasting several days and experience agile IT projects, tools and teamwork at first hand.
