doubleSlash achieves sales growth of 11% to around EUR 25 million despite the coronavirus pandemic.

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the software company doubleSlash can look back on a positive business performance in the 2020 financial year –  of 250 employees, sales increased by 11% to around 25 million euros

"We can look back on a positive financial year, which developed better than we could have expected despite the COVID-19 pandemic. However, we are very vigilant with regard to future economic and political developments and are entering the new year with cautious optimism. Our solid economic situation as a medium-sized company in the IT sector strengthens us in this respect," says Managing Director Andreas Strobel.

At all three locations (Friedrichshafen, Munich and Stuttgart), the doubleSlash team is working towards one goal: shaping digital value creation—in the areas of Data Driven Services, Connected Things, Connected Mobility and Subscription Management. "We are proud that we can sustainably support our national and international customers in the development of software products both in southern Germany and in the DACH region and that we want to continue to invest in future-proof digitalization and automation," says Jochen Herdrich, Team Leader Sales at doubleSlash. In the new year, increased investments in efficient automation and sustainablequality are planned—by the doubleSlash Software Creation Factory. In addition, a move to larger premises is planned at all three locations, including the newly created Software Innovation Center (SIZ) in Friedrichshafen. Not least because the doubleSlash team at all three locations is set to grow further. As in recent months, ongoing recruitment is also planned for the coming year. The doubleSlash colleagues are looking forward to new software developers, software architects and IT consultants joining the team.

The topic of research and development, the promotion of innovations and the development of young talent and further training of employees is very important to the company. R&D investments are made on the basis of the long-term corporate strategy and form the foundation for future corporate growth. doubleSlash invested 5.5% of revenue in this area in the past financial year.

Also in the future - the "doubleSlash team" recipe for success

With 250 employees, the company continues to focus on measures to recruit new specialists and junior staff in order to ensure sustainable, high-quality personnel growth at all company locations. The long-term success of the company is a team effort. doubleSlash employees work together on projects and contribute to the success of the company in their role. "This is deeply rooted in our doubleSlash values culture. We are therefore very pleased that this year our colleagues are once again participating in the company's success with a bonus and that the employee participation company (dSMB AG), which was founded two years ago, is once again making a profit distribution. We are particularly proud of our strong growth in junior staff. A total of 64 new trainees and students started in the fall. We have never had so many new recruits," reports HR Manager Leonie Hlawatsch enthusiastically.
