"The investments we have made in modern software technologies in recent years are paying off. This year, we have once again implemented many digitalization projects with our existing customers and gained new customers . We are very pleased about this trust. The basis for this success is sustainable, qualitative growth in personnel at all locations," says Managing Director and founder Konrad Krafft.

At the Friedrichshafen, Stuttgart and Munich locations, doubleSlash supports companies in their digital evolution. Construction of the new Software Innovation Center in Friedrichshafen began in December 2019. "With the planned building, we want to create a 'home base' for our employees where teamwork is optimally supported," says Managing Director Andreas Strobel.

doubleSlash continues to invest in the research and development of new digitalization solutions. This also includes constantly identifying new technologies and evaluating and developing them for productive use. "We are enthusiastic about our work and see ourselves as a learning organization. This means that we give our employees scope for research and further training. We are continuously expanding and consolidating our expertise in our relevant business areas in order to continue offering our customers the highest quality," says Krafft.

Investments in research, development, training and qualification in the 2019 financial year amounted to € 1,544 thousand, which corresponds to 6.9% of revenue. These investments are based on the long-term corporate strategy and form the basis for the company's future growth.

"Thanks to the exceptional performance of our employees, we have once again significantly exceeded the corporate targets we set ourselves. That is why we are once again giving our employees a direct share in the company's success this year with a bonus to celebrate this result together," says Patrick Schmerbach, authorized signatory at doubleSlash. As in the previous year, the employee shareholding company (dSMB AG) founded at the beginning of last year will also receive a profit distribution.

Further sustainable growth

doubleSlash is planning slight sales growth for the 2020 financial year. "We expect the market situation to be tense next year, particularly in the automotive industry. However, we are well positioned thanks to long-term framework agreements, particularly in the area of digital services and attractive offers in the field of digitalization," says Andreas Strobel, Managing Director responsible for sales. "We want to continue developing sustainable digital added value for companies with our software solutions in the coming financial year."
