New doubleSlash Software Innovation Center for around 300 employees
The doubleSlash Software Innovation Center (SIZ) will be built at the Competence Park FRIEDRICHSHAFEN just a few metres from the software company's current headquarters by the end of 2021. The approx. 5,000 square meter building will provide space for around 300 workstations—including a large atrium for meetings and events in the center of the building, as well as a spacious outdoor area and roof terrace for a pleasant working and feel-good atmosphere.
"With the planned building, we want to create a 'home base' for our employees where teamwork and community are actively practiced. These are key factors in continuing our success story and using digital solutions to create sustainable added value for companies and for the region –, the future center of the Lake Constance Valley –," says Managing Director Andreas Strobel. The project will be implemented together with the PRISMA Group, the previous landlord, whose buildings (CPF 1, CPF 3 and SEE.STATT) are already home to doubleSlash. "We are delighted to have generous parking space—an underground garage for 130 parking spaces, 20 e-parking spaces with charging stations and around 80 bicycle parking spaces for all our cycling enthusiasts," says Strobel. Around 160 employees currently work in Friedrichshafen, while other branches that are important for the company's development are located in Munich and Stuttgart.
"We are delighted to be able to move into the future together with doubleSlash—as one of the first companions at the Competence Park FRIEDRICHSHAFEN –. In addition to the PRISMA Group's experience from over 30 innovation locations, the individual ideas and visions of doubleSlash were also incorporated into the development of the new software innovation center. The result, designed with architect Dietrich Unterftrifaller, is something to be proud of," says Bernhard Ölz, CEO of the PRISMA Group.
The building is scheduled for completion in fall 2021.
