For the tenth time, doubleSlash also hosted Girls Day. Nine girls between the ages of 11 and 15 took part in various workshops at the Häfler consulting and software company to get a taste of IT and commercial career opportunities. "Girls Day is ideal for us to show the girls the professions in the IT sector at an early stage. And of course we are delighted if one or two of them decide to pursue a career in IT," says Leonie Hlawatsch, Head of HR at doubleSlash.
In fact, after just one morning at doubleSlash, some girls could already imagine starting a career in IT, such as Barbara (11 years old): "I would never have thought how diverse computer science can be."
Keep up the good work girls! Perhaps we will soon be able to welcome one or two of them as interns or trainees.
