The running shoes are laced up, the runners are ready. On April 12, the starting whistle for the Fischbach half marathon will sound for the 11th time. Around 500 participants are expected once again and, of course, some of our employees will be at the starting line to demonstrate their sporting prowess. As a long-standing sponsor of the Fischbach Half Marathon, doubleSlash is once again contributing to the success of the sporting event this year with a donation of 1000 euros. "Sponsorship is vital for such events. If companies did not provide support, something like the Fischbach Half Marathon would not be possible," said half marathon organizer Harald Sewcz at the cheque presentation.
In addition to the half marathon, which covers a distance of around 21 kilometers, three other disciplines attract runners from the region. The Fischbacher Viertele in particular, which shares the 10.4-kilometre route with Nordic walking participants, has enjoyed great popularity in the past.
This sporting day concludes with the award ceremony, where the fastest runners are presented with numerous prizes and cash prizes.

Registration for the half marathon is still possible until April 6 at www.halbmarathon-fischbach.de. Spontaneous athletes can register on the day of the race between 10 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. at the Albert Müller Stadium in Fischbach.
