Campaign for healthy and motivated employees
The aim of the campaign was to motivate employees to cycle as many kilometers as possible between May and August. And it paid off: a total of 68 doubleSlasher employees cycled over 70,000 kilometers—to work, on vacation and together as a team after work, e.g. over the Gehrenberg. "That corresponds to a range of 1.74 times around the world," says Schiffmann.
70,000 kilometers for a good cause
The best 15 cyclists were rewarded with bike-related prizes, and the teams with the highest mileage also received a contribution to their team coffers.
"But we also wanted to use this great campaign to do something good," says Schiffmann. "That's why we decided to donate two cents per kilometer ridden to a good cause." The final total of 1,400 euros was ultimately rounded up to 2,000 euros. The money will be donated to "Radio 7 Drachenkinder", a campaign that supports sick, disabled or traumatized children and young people from the Radio 7 region.
"We deliberately wanted to donate to a local campaign. Children also play an important role at doubleSlash," said Schiffmann at the cheque presentation in the Radio 7 studio in Ravensburg. "We have many young employees who are starting families, which is why the issue is close to our hearts." doubleSlash has also supported the Kinderstiftung Bodensee in the past.
