"We have been taking part in the competition for many years," explains Human Resources Manager Leonie Hlawatsch. "This is precisely how we recognize not only our progress, but also development potential. The ranking is a valuable barometer for us—and recognition for our entire team."
People make innovation possible
People are at the heart of doubleSlash's corporate culture. Trust in employees, team spirit and mutual appreciation form the basis for creative solutions and technological innovations. With products such as the Digital Key or specially developed AI assistance solutions, doubleSlash regularly demonstrates that a wealth of ideas and innovative spirit are firmly anchored. "Innovation doesn't happen in a quiet room—it needs participation and room for development," says Hlawatsch. "That's why we rely on flexible working models, hybrid structures and an environment that promotes openness and further development."
Shaping further development together—with the participation of all
One example of our active participation is the company-wide competency assessment model: with a specially created 360° feedback approach, the company has set a new benchmark for transparency and participation. The focus is not only on individual development paths, but also on the joint discussion of topics such as responsibility, performance and personal growth. The model was developed by an interdisciplinary project team representing all areas of our company—regardless of location, role or working time model. In the latest Great Place to Work® survey, the software company recorded a ten percentage point increase in approval in the salary and development category compared to the last survey—a sign that openness, transparency and an appreciative dialog are bearing fruit.
Shaping the future together
In this year's employee survey, doubleSlash achieved an overall approval rating of 98 percent—another sign of the strong trust that employees have in their company. "We don't see the award as a goal, but as an incentive," says Hlawatsch. "Because a really good employer is constantly developing—together with its people."
