Our colleague Simon Mennig has written an interesting article in the article series "Young professionals write for young professionals" at heise Developer.

In the heise Developer article series, young developers write articles with the aim of informing interested parties about current developments, trends and experiences. One article is now published every month - our colleague Simon Mennig is one of them and has published an exciting article entitled "Cloud bursting - when the private cloud bursts, the public cloud is on the scene" .

Simon Mennig studied Business Informatics (B.Sc.) at the Ravensburg-Weingarten University of Applied Sciences and Computer Science with a focus on Software Engineering (M.Sc.) at the HTWG in Constance. As part of his master's thesis at doubleSlash, he dealt with the topic of "Cloud Bursting", among other things. Simon has been working for us as a software developer since 2020 and enriches the doubleSlash team with his extensive know-how in the areas of IoT, cloud computing and Java.

Sharing knowledge and experience is very important to us. Because we are convinced that education is the most sustainable form of value creation. That's why we have also launched our doubleSlash blog, in which we report on our software projects, our day-to-day work as developers and take a look at topics that offer particular added value.
