After a visual branding of the new fleet vehicle in the Friedrichshafen foil forge, the BMWi3 now bears the signature of doubleSlash in the field of networked services in the e-mobility sector. The Unterberger car dealership, where the vehicle was officially handed over last week, is a long-standing doubleSlash partner in fleet matters. "I am delighted that doubleSlash is now making e-mobility more visible in the Lake Constance region and that we as a partner can support the fact that there is now a BMWi3 in the doubleSlash fleet," says Simone Kraxner, Operations Manager at Autohaus Unterberger in Lindau.

E-mobility is a new, constantly evolving field in which users of electric vehicles are facing new challenges in terms of application and user behavior. Companies in the automotive industry and service providers working in the field of electromobility must provide suitable solutions. E-mobility is more than just replacing the electric motor. It means networking vehicles and drivers with their environment.

doubleSlash was selected as a partner for the development of the BMW i services due to its expertise and in-depth experience in the car IT environment. The consulting and software company was particularly involved in the design of the services, in coordination between the specialist department and the implementing IT departments, but also in quality assurance. "With the purchase of the BMWi3 as a company vehicle, we have not only triggered complete enthusiasm among our employees, we are once again demonstrating our conviction and expertise in the field of electromobility. We at doubleSlash appreciate the advantages of networked technologies, which we have worked on as a partner in the design and development of networked services for BMW vehicles," says doubleSlash Managing Director Konrad Krafft.
