Friedrichshafen, 22.12.2021—This year, doubleSlash is supporting UNICEF'sLiving Schools Malawi project with a donation.
The "Living Schools" project offers children from Malawi a good education with prospects for the future. The children attend classes, learn basic knowledge about environmental protection in their own school garden and gain their first experience with digital technologies. They learn how to shape their lives sustainably and independently.
Balanced diet for the children
With the donation from doubleSlash, UNICEF can provide the children with a balanced diet, for example. In addition, the children receive courses and tips on how to prepare balanced meals. The children are actively involved in shaping the schoolyard and help set up vegetable patches and plant fruit trees. There they learn how natural resources can be used. The donation from doubleSlash is also used to maintain the water points and sanitary facilities. The pupils and surrounding communities receive training on how to comply with good hygiene measures.
Doing something good together
Social commitment, responsibility and support—all of this also plays a major role at doubleSlash. Acting together, openly and sustainably is firmly anchored in the company values. "For us as a company, it is important to take responsibility. We particularly like to support educational projects because education plays a key role when it comes to shaping a better world," says Konrad Krafft, founder and Managing Director of doubleSlash. The software company wants to play its part in giving children the opportunity to receive an education and thus shape their own lives in a protected environment. This campaign supports children from needy families in particular.
