Shaping the surgery of tomorrow together
DiiC networks clinics, research institutions and companies in order to drive interdisciplinary projects with high innovation potential. The focus is on open integration concepts, the development of intelligent, networked systems and the transfer of research results into everyday clinical practice.
Technology expertise for the OR of the future
With its many years of experience in IoT, data processing, AI and platform development doubleSlash brings proven expertise from industry and automotive to the healthcare sector.
One specific use case is the project outline ADAMS (AI-supported anomaly detection in the operating theatre environment), which is being developed together with the AVT—Clinic for General, Visceral andGeneral, Visceral and Transplant Surgery at the University Hospital of Tübingen and the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU).
The aim of the project is to analyze video and device data from surgical procedures in order to identify potential for improvement and sustainably optimize processes—comparable to AI-supported data analysis in autonomous driving, which doubleSlash has been in charge of for years. The project pitch is scheduled for September 17, 2025.
Responsibility and quality as guiding principles
As a member of DiiC, doubleSlash assumes responsibility—for the successful implementation of joint projects as well as for sustainable benefits in everyday clinical practice. The company relies on professional methods, proven standards and communication at eye level. This results in digital products that are technologically leading and at the same time meet the highest quality standards.

Looking ahead
"We are thrilled to be a member of DiiC. With our ADAMS—AI-supported anomaly detection in the OR environment—project, we have the perfect opportunity to establish ourselves with our technologies in the surgical environment," says Stefan Dürnay, MedTech expert at doubleSlash Net-Business GmbH.
Together with clinics and research institutions, doubleSlash aims to develop and test practical, state-of-the-art digital services and transfer them into everyday clinical practice in the long term.
