Danny Claus Speaks at VDMA on the Software Development of Tomorrow

Digital functions and software are increasingly determining competitiveness, differentiation and future viability in industrial, mechanical and plant engineering. At the same time, many companies are struggling with inefficient software processes, overloaded development teams and stalled projects.

On February 5, 2026, the VDMA Experience Exchange will therefore be dedicated to "Software Engineering in Practice". The focus will be on requirements, quality and efficiency –, i.e. precisely the topics that determine the success of modern software projects. In compact, practical presentations, the focus will be on how development processes can be made more sustainable and effective.
I am delighted to be able to give a presentation on "Efficient software development in practice—pitfalls and success factors from real customer projects" as part of this event.
Based on concrete practical experience from various industry projects, I will show which procedures, roles and processes make software teams more efficient in the long term, which measures have actually proven themselves in practice—and which have not.

The presentation will take place online via MS Teams
February 5, 2026 from 10-12 am
