The doubleSlash experts Nadine Kozima, Head of Corporate Services, and Sabine Rossbach, Senior Project Manager, demonstrated the importance of project management in practice and were right on trend.
The importance of project management continues to grow and, according to GPM studies, it is the working method of the future in German companies. In many companies, more than 50 percent of value creation is already achieved through projects.
doubleSlash works operationally almost exclusively with project management, which is mainly used for customized solutions for customers or in the development of its own products. However, the concept of project management is also successfully implemented internally in marketing, human resources, administration and controlling. Agile methods such as Scrum are just as important as traditional project management methods.
Since 2012, the consulting and software company has even introduced its own career path for project managers. Special emphasis is placed on further training, coaching and knowledge management as part of a competence pillar. This development is based on a simple conviction: on the one hand, it is a benefit for the employees, who can build up skills, but also for the company, which can handle customer projects professionally and successfully. In other words, a classic win-win situation. "For us, project management also plays an important role in all other career paths. doubleSlash can therefore be an attractive employer for anyone who enjoys working on projects," says Nadine Kozima.
