To kick off the running season on 16.04.2016 in Fischbach, around 500 ambitious runners will once again make their way to the finish line. The sporting competition is taking place for the 13th time and offers the right route for every runner with various distances such as the half marathon (21.1 km), Viertele (10.4 km), Nordic walking or school run. The start is at 13:50 at the Albert Müller Stadium in Fischbach. The Fischbach Half Marathon has been running since 2004 and has been attracting runners from all over the country to Lake Constance ever since. Currently, a best time of 01:17:33.0 leads the "hilly landscape run".
"Sponsorship is vital for such events. If companies didn't provide support, something like the Fischbach Half Marathon would not be possible," said half marathon organizer Harald Sewcz at the cheque presentation.
As a young, dynamic company, doubleSlash is actively involved in the existence of the sporting event and supports the event annually with €1000. This year, the participants will once again include motivated employees from our company who are taking on the challenge of a half marathon or the quarter. "As an enthusiastic runner, the Fischbach half marathon has been a must for me for years. I am delighted that we can play our part in maintaining such events with this sponsorship," says Wolfgang Kleinertz, who handed over the cheque on behalf of doubleSlash.
The official award ceremony at the end of the event will begin at 17:00 in the Fischbach sports stadium. As an incentive, the fastest runners will receive various non-cash and cash prizes.
Interested runners can register at www.halbmarathon-fischbach.de until April 14. Late registration is only possible on the day of the event from 10:00 to 12:30.
