Boost your code! It sounds almost too good to be true: happier developers and faster feature deployment! That's exactly what Microsoft promises with its AI-based coding tool, GitHub Copilot.

GitHub Copilot uses the OpenAI GPT4 model and trains on all open source repositories on GitHub to suggest inline code recommendations or even entire classes to developers directly in the editor .

But does the tool really deliver what it promises? And how does it work in real customer projects?
